Stamping plate BP-11 from BornPrettyStore

Stamping plate BP-11 from BornPrettyStore

Today I’m going to show two things
– a stamping plate and a stamping polish.

The stamping plate is BP-11, and this is what it looks like:

I really love the patterns on this plate! I’m going to have so much fun with it.

I picked the two star designs for my mani today and I stamped with a pink stamping polish, also from Born Pretty Store. It’s called Peachblow (!)

Here’s the mani I made:

The stamp works perfectly and the stamping polish stamps just fine over darker colours. Peachblow has a sweet scent to it and it dries a little bit fast, so you can’t wait too long from you pick up the stamp until you place it on your nail.

The verdict:

Pros:
Great designs on BP-11
Design picks up perfectly
Peachblow stamps fine over darker colours

Cons:
None

Dance Legend ~ Malta #82 with MILV stickers

Dance Legend ~ Malta #82 with MILV water decals
I Russia

Today’s post is dedicated to beautiful Russian polishes. It isn’t a secret that I am a big fan of El Corazón and Dance Legend so today I’m only wearing Russian beauties.

Let me show you:

The red is Dance Legend’s #82 from the Malta collection. It’s a beautiful red with golden shimmer. The shimmer sinks so the bottle needs a good shake, rattle and roll before the polish is ready to be applied. It’s really opaque, I think I may have been able to get away with one coat. I did two, and the drying time is pretty good.

The white shimmer is El Corazón’s m&s-172 from the matte&shine collection. It is my to go white for nail art. It covers in two coats.

The white glitter is also from El Corazón, it’s #N531a from the Confetti collection.

The Matryoshka doll and the “I Russia”-text are both water decals from MILV.

Here are the three Russian beauties:

Dance Legend Malta #82, El Corazón m&s-172 and N531a.

I love this!

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Shimmer
Overall impression: I love all three of them

Moyra ~ #09 from the Vamp collection

Moyra ~ #09 from the Vamp collection
Cherry red with silver shimmer

I found this gem of a polish in a hidden corner. I bought it on a vacation in Hungary and I can’t believe I haven’t worn it before now.

The formula is good and really easy to work with. It also covers well, I believe that it can be used for stamping as well. I applied two coats out of habit and the drying time is good.

This is what two coats and no topcoat looks like in ordinary daylight:

I took this picture in the lightbox to show off the silver shimmer. There’s so much of it that the polish gets a metallic look.

I dapped some silver/holo glitter by the base of each nail. I used Salon Perfect’s Silver Sparkler for that. Then I stamped a flowery design on top of it all. I found it on plate Marianne-Nails No. 119 and I stamped with a black stamping polish.

Here’s what it ended up looking like.

I like the look of the stamp over the glitter.

Here are the two polishes.

There were more Moyra polishes in the hidden corner; many pretties that want to be worn :D

Number of coats: 2
