Ever After ~ Fangtasia

Ever After ~ Fangtasia
Purple linear holo with multi-colored ultra-color shifting flakes

Fangtasia is a HHC Facebook group custom exclusive from December 2015 and it is a part of the Halloween True Blood collection.

The formula is good and fast drying. I used two coats for my mani.

Two coats and no topcoat taken with flash look like this:

Here’s a picture in ordinary daylight on an overcast day. The colour is still really nice.

I decided I wanted some skulls on it. The motifs are all from the same stamping plate: XY-P07. I love the motifs on the plate, but you it’s not etched very well so you need to be really patient to use it. I stamped with El Corazón’s stamping polish White.

This is my final mani, including topcoat.

Fangtasia was limited edition and is no longer available.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Holo with flakes
Overall impression: Great polish, nice colour, great rainbows!

Masura ~ 1083 Amsterdam

Masura ~ 1083 Amsterdam
Bright blue jelly with holo glitter

Amsterdam is from the Golden Collection and it’s my first Masura polish. The polish looks really nice in the bottle, but let’s apply it to the nails and see what it looks like there.

I applied two easy and fast drying coats for my mani. I didn’t experience any difficulties with the application, the layers just glided on.

Here’s two coats and no topcoat taken in the lightbox.

This picture is taken with flash to make the holo goodness show.

This colour is so nice and it reminds me so much of water. So I stamped some aquatic motifs on it, using two Moyou London stamping plates: Sailor Collection-07 and Sailor Collection-08. I stamped with El Corazón’s White stamping polish.

I wanted to make a reverse stamping on my ring finger nail. I wanted to make an octopussy, but I couldn’t quite make it work. I honestly think it ended up looking like a splashed out ghost, hahaha!

But I like my mani anyway:

Here are the polishes I used:

Masura: Amsterdam, Colors by Llarowe: Sparkling Diamonds, El Corazón: White and Black

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Jelly with holo glitter
Overall impression: I’m impressed with it. I  like the colour, the effect and the quality

China Glaze ~ The more the Berrier

China Glaze ~ The more the Berrier
Magenta packed with pink shimmer – almost metallic

The More the Berries is from China Glaze’s holiday collection from 2016, Seas and Greetings. There are 12 polishes in the collection but I only bought this one.

The formula is fantastic and this is a true one coater. I did apply two coats because I like that. The drying time is really good and the polish dries up really nice and non-brush-strokey.

Here’s two coats and no topcoat taken in ordinary daylight.

I just love this colour.

I was going to make a tape mani out of it. Unfortunately I wasn’t very thoughtful when I applied my basecoat: I used a peel off basecoat. That meant that the polish came off when I removed the tape. Argh! So today’s polish adventure ended right there, sigh. It’s still a super nice polish though, I really like it!

Number of coats: 2, but 1 is enough
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Shimmer, almost metallic
Overall impression: Great polish, really nice colour!
